Highly recommend Northwest Philly Handyman! Jon was great to work with, and Lee did a fantastic job installing two heavy 5-foot solid oak floating shelves and a large framed print. She followed my placement preferences and measurements exactly, never rushed the process, and took the time to make sure everything was perfectly positioned. The work was done with real care and attention to detail, the pricing was very reasonable, and the whole experience was professional from start to finish. Northwest Philly Handyman was the kind of experience that reminds you how smooth a home project can feel when the right people are involved. Jon and Lee were consistently responsive, clear, and proactive in communication, and they worked together seamlessly as a team. When unexpected issues popped up, they didn’t hesitate or overcomplicate things, they adjusted quickly, talked through options with me, and kept the work moving forward. Our project also required a lot of coordination with other specialists and some tedious scheduling constraints, and they were flexible and collaborative throughout, which took a ton of stress off my plate. On top of all that, they’re just genuinely pleasant people, easy to work with, respectful in the house, and straightforward in the best way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jon and Lee at Northwest Philly Handyman are fantastic! They are skilled, professional, and reliable, and I always feel confident that the work will be done right the first time. They explained things clearly, are honest about what’s needed, and finished faster than expected. We live in Roxborough and needed some work done in our home. Luckily, we found Jon Miller. Once we contacted him he was quick to set up an appointment to evaluate the jobs we wanted done. His estimate was fair and the work he did is excellent. Jon has painted the trim for our new bay window, hung shutters, extended our banister rail, reinforced our basement steps, and fixed our front door. He came up with practical solutions to two safety concerns. Jon wore a mask while he worked this time since his little one was sick. (Thanks!) He is scheduled to do work in our basement this Spring. Jon is super responsive in planning emails and quote appointments, accepts online payments, and does great work. He was also willing to wear a mask while he was in our house to accommodate an immunocompromised family member. Can't recommend him enough!
